Our Nolah Mattress Review
Nolah decided to ditch both memory foam and latex foam and use something different that lacks most of their limitations.
In the first layer, they’ve used their proprietary foam called AirFoam™.
Airfoam is many things that memory and latex foam are not: it’s cooler, it’s more durable, and it provides better pressure relief.
It’s also more responsive than memory foam which ensures you can still turn and move freely without feeling stuck.
In the second layer, they’ve used Avena foam. This is a latex-like foam that feels responsive and doesn’t trap heat.
Together with the ‘airy’ top layer, they do a great job of keeping the mattress cool through the night.
The base layer consists of 7” poly foam provides compression support and keeps the mattress in good shape for years.
The base layer is thicker than in most mattresses, which is perhaps one of the reasons Nolah offers a long 15-year warranty. Most foam mattresses stick to 10 years.
Overall, the Nolah mattress is more comfortable, more supportive and more durable than most mattresses in its price range.
Shipping is absolutely free but only to the continental US. As soon as the mattress arrives at your door, the 120-night in-home trial begins.
They ask that you try the mattress for at least 30 nights. If after that you still don’t like it, they will pick it up for free and give you a full refund.
If you decide to keep it, they guarantee to cover any repair or replacement costs for 15 years. That’s quite generous for an all-foam mattress.
If you don’t find memory foam mattresses to be quite your thing and you don’t like latex mattresses either, the Nolah mattress is perfect for you.
It combines the best qualities of both latex and memory foam and leaves out the not-so-good. It’s also a great bargain as far as premium foam mattresses go.
