Some people go to great lengths to get a good night sleep; but, unfortunately, not all of us get it.
Good sleep is a very precious commodity, but many of us struggle to get a decent amount of sleep which goes ahead without disturbance or hindrance. For others, however, sleep is not something which is high on their priorities list.
But what causes bad sleep?
Well, some people have serious sleep conditions such as insomnia and sleep apnea, whereas others just have a bad sleeping environment or a lousy mattress.
Buying a good quality mattress can make a massive difference to the quality and amount of sleep you are getting, so they are well worth an investment. If you have an old mattress, perhaps it is time for an upgrade?
A new mattress is nice but it might not be enough.
At least this is what the insightful collection of facts assembled by Celeb Jury suggests.
In fact, some of the world’s richest and most famous celebrities are plagued with sleeping issues or have odd sleeping patterns and environments.
Here’s a selection of our favorites:
Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey sleeps for 15 hours per day – twice as long as the average person – and surrounds herself with 20 humidifiers to create a steamy environment. She claims this helps her sing better.
Jessica Simpson
Ms. Simpson suffers from psycho-physiological insomnia which makes it very hard for her to fall asleep when she is in bed. Strangely enough, she sleeps easier on the floor.
Eminem
Eminem places tinfoil over his windows to block out all light and plays white noise over speakers to help him sleep better while on tour.
Jimmy Kimmel
Mr. Kimmel suffers from a condition known as narcolepsy which causes him to fall asleep at inappropriate times, such as when he is in his car or at meetings.
