There are two quick steps to the order process. First, choose your size.
In addition to the usual sizes, couples can purchase a split King or Cal King, but you’ll need to contact the sales team to place an order.
Next, pick your preferred firmness level. There are two options: medium and firm.
And that’s it.
If you want, you can apply for Affirm or Shop Pay financing and pay for your new mattress in installments.
Nest Bedding has also partnered with Extend to offer mattress protection. You can add a 3, 5, or 10-year Extended protection to your order.
Extend offers free repairs in case of accidental damage to your mattress (things that the official Nest Bedding warranty doesn't cover like cuts and stains).
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping is free within the continental US. If you are ordering from Alaska or Hawaii, you’ll pay extra for freight.
It takes quite a bit of time for your order to be ready. That’s because the Piper mattress is handmade. The lead time before the mattress ships are 6-7 weeks.
But once it ships, expect it in 3-8 business days.
The Piper mattress will be shipped in multiple boxes. The Queen size weighs 170 lbs, so you’ll need some help carrying the boxes inside and setting up the heavy mattress.

Nest Bedding Piper is an 8-inch all-latex certified organic mattress. Here’s the layout of the mattress.
Organic Cotton and Wool Cover
The Nest Bedding Piper mattress comes with a quilted cover consisting of organic cotton and organic wool.
The 1” cover provides a nice pillow top-like cushioning. It’s also great for cooling and moisture-wicking.
Swappable 3” Dunlop latex comfort layer
The main comfort layer and the one that determines the firmness of the mattress is made with certified organic Dunlop latex.
This layer is encased in an organic cotton cover for protection and extra breathability.
You can access this layer by unzipping the quilted cover. This makes it easy to exchange it for a new layer if the mattress is uncomfortable or once it gets worn out.
4” Dunlop Latex Base
Also encased in organic cotton, the base layer of the Piper mattress is made with high-density organic Dunlop latex. It provides deep compression support and ensures the mattress lasts for years without sagging.
Manufacturing and Certifications
The Piper mattress is handmade in the USA.
All the components in the mattress are certified organic. The cotton and wool in the cover are GOTS certified organic.
Dunlop latex in the two layers of the mattress is GOLS certified organic.

Support
The Piper offers excellent lumbar support for sleepers. Even the medium option is firm enough to hold up your weight.
Sleepers in all weight categories will find the Piper mattress adequately supportive.
Edge support is not as good as in a hybrid mattress with the pocket coil, but the edges of the Piple latex mattress hold up better than those of a foam mattress.

Nest Bedding offers a lifetime warranty on the Piper. It covers indentations deeper than one inch as well as any manufacturing defects.
