Parachute's Sateen set is the softer one, and as I mentioned, it gets even softer after you wash it. This is the popular set raced about all over the internet and is the best choice if you want to come home to a soft, luxurious bed.
Parachute's other choice, their Percale set, starts a bit crispy but softens up with every wash. One thing to look out for with Percale is the wrinkles. You might wake up with crease lines on your cheek from the pillowcase.
To reduce the wrinkles, you should fit the sheet on the mattress as soon as it dries. You can also iron it on low heat before putting it on the bed.
For cooling your body, the Percale sheet set is the better choice. This material is more breathable than the Sateen, making it perfect for those who experience hot flushes or live in hot climates.

The Fabrics
Parachute's Percale and Sateen sheets are both made from the same material – long-staple Egyptian cotton.
The difference is in the weaving process, which results in two different textures and experiences.

It does wrinkle quite a bit but not enough to make your sleeping experience uncomfortable.
