Our Loom and Leaf Mattress Review
The Loom and Leaf is an eco-friendly luxury memory foam mattress with a budget price tag.
It’s similar in quality to a Tempur-Pedic mattress (many customers say it’s even better) but at less than half the price.
If you are looking for a premium, responsive and long lasting memory foam mattress, the Loom and Leaf is a great choice.
One of things I love most about it is the eco-friendly materials starting with the cover.
It is an organic cotton cover that is quilted with a thin layer of foam to make it feel plush and comfortable. The cover also contains natural thistle flame retardant – no chemical retardants are used.
Below the cover is the main cooling layer. This is a memory foam mattress so it’s more vulnerable to overheating.
But that is not an issue with the Loom and Leaf. They’ve made sure of it.
The top memory foam layer is infused with heat-dissipating gel, with most of the gel concentrated at the center where you need most cooling. In addition, it has a perforated design that improves air flow.
Below it is another denser layer of memory foam. Together with the top memory foam layer, they provide contouring and pressure-point relief.
The core of the mattress is a 2” layer of dense foam that provides deep contouring as well as lumbar support.
To make sure you don’t sink in too deep and the mattress doesn’t sag over time, a 6″ support base provide compression and overall support.
Shipping costs $99 for most areas in the US. It includes free setup (white glove delivery) and free optional old mattress removal. Most mattress companies charge $150 for these extras.
The trial period is 120 days and the non-prorated warranty runs for 15 years.
